Video tips

Before you record your video, you should make sure of a few things so it’s the best quality possible.

  • 1

    Find decent lighting

    • Can we see you clearly?
    • Are you using direct lighting?

Record during the day near a window or in a well-lit room for the best results.

  • 2

    Be mindful of background noise

    • Are you in a quiet space where you can record uninterrupted?

Make sure there are no distracting background noises, like talking, music, etc.

  • 3

    Choose a good background

    • Is the background distracting?
    • Did you make sure to get rid of any clutter?

A solid color wall is ideal and virtual backgrounds are a great option as well.

  • 4

    Dress the part

You don’t need to be dressed formally, but make sure to look presentable. We want your story to help others.

Feel free to represent your school, too!
